Elastic Engineer (m/w/d) Cloud

Role Summary

You will support the construction, operation and further development of our Elastic platforms in on-premises, Azure and GCP environments.

You work on exciting use cases relating to data & AI - from recording, processing and intelligent searches in data to modern search & AI solutions to the observability of complex systems and security solutions.

Your tasks will include helping to make data available for innovative AI use cases, for example through intelligent and semantic search as well as modern retrieval approaches.

You develop automations with Python, Ansible and OpenTofu.

You'll also use AI-powered development tools like Codex AI to turn ideas into working solutions more quickly.

You analyze technical challenges, contribute your own ideas and implement them together with the team.

Requirements

• You have either completed a degree in computer science or a comparable field, have appropriate training or have other relevant practical professional experience in the IT environment.
• You have already had contact with Linux, cloud, container technologies, automation or software development.
• Terms like Python, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, Elastic or Cloud are no foreign words to you. In addition to practical experience, one thing is very important to us: curiosity and desire to learn.
• You are interested in data & AI, Elasticsearch, Kibana, cloud, observability and security - and want to understand how smart products and services are created from data.
• Working in a team makes you friends - you communicate openly and enjoy making things better, easier and more scalable.
• You can communicate confidently in German (at least B2 level); English will help you with technical documentation and in the community.
