Risk Manager*in Controlling Investments

Role Summary

You monitor and analyze the risks of our investments across different asset classes.

You regularly carry out market, credit and concentration risk analyzes and continuously develop existing risk measurement procedures.

You create meaningful risk reports for management, investment committees and other stakeholders.

You monitor compliance with internal investment guidelines as well as regulatory requirements and limits.

You analyze the effects of market movements on portfolios and support management in risk-relevant decisions.

You support the evaluation of new investment products and investment strategies from a risk and controlling perspective.

You support the further development and digitalization of our risk controlling processes, methods and systems and contribute your own ideas for optimization.

You will be involved in regulatory audits and the implementation of regulatory requirements (e.g. Solvency II, MaRisk, VAG).

Requirements

• You enjoy working in a team, are open-minded and cooperative.
• You will enrich our team with your high level of analytical thinking, your affinity for numbers and a very good technical understanding.
• You will enjoy the structured and detailed preparation of numbers and the creation of evaluations as much as the subsequent presentation of your results.
• With your strong creativity in developing solutions and your desire to create, you actively contribute to the continuous development of processes and procedures.
• You have several years of professional experience in investment-related risk controlling, risk management or actuarial work at an insurance company, an asset management company or a bank.
• In addition, you have successfully completed your master's degree in economics with a focus on risk management/controlling, (business) mathematics or finance and have advanced knowledge in the analysis and evaluation of capital market products.
• Ideally, you have already acquired initial programming knowledge and have the willingness and motivation to familiarize yourself with our software.
• Experienced use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as good English skills round off your profile.
