IT license manager

Role Summary

You are responsible for the strategic and operational design of the processes and interfaces in IT license management.

The core of your work is the ongoing analysis and documentation of usage rights as well as the continuous development of license management in the company.

In addition, you are responsible for the regular preparation of license balances.

You advise the internal departments strategically on licensing issues and work closely with purchasing and contract management.

Last but not least, you will support contract negotiations and service provider audits.

Requirements

• You have very good analytical thinking skills and a strategic way of thinking.
• You work independently, structured and goal-oriented.
• Your strong entrepreneurial thinking and actions shape the way you work and you always act with foresight.
• Thanks to your several years of professional experience in license management coupled with knowledge of the major license models of the major manufacturers (IBM, Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, etc.), you bring excellent specialist knowledge.
• You have completed a degree or have IT training or comparable qualifications.
• Ideally, you have experience in using common license management tools; Experience in project management is also desirable.
• Very good knowledge of German (at least C1 level) rounds off your profile. Good knowledge of English is desirable.
