Role Summary

As a consultant for major property losses (m/f/d), you will take on a central role in the settlement of complex and economically significant claims.

You act as a competent contact person for our customers and partners and ensure efficient and transparent claims processing.

You actively regulate major property losses for all customer groups and lines of property insurance.

You check the insurance coverage, possible reasons for denial of benefits and third-party rights and make informed decisions based on this.

You conduct correspondence and predominantly telephone negotiations with customers, lawyers, brokers, consultants and sales partners.

You work closely with external adjusters, experts and claims service providers and manage their deployment in a targeted manner.

Requirements

• You have completed commercial training (e.g. insurance salesman, insurance specialist) or business administration training.
• You have knowledge of property insurance law and the contractual conditions of property insurance.
• You are characterized by a high level of customer orientation and empathy.
• You work independently, structured and solution-oriented.
• You are a real team player and actively participate in the collaboration in the claims area.
