Schadenmanager*in Sachschaden (Gebäude- und Hausratversicherung)

Role Summary

The core of your work is the independent, final processing of complex property damage in residential building and household contents insurance.

You will be responsible for reviewing demanding benefit cases as well as in-depth assessment and settlement of the amount of damage.

The technical management of claims, including active monitoring and adjustment of loss reserves, is also part of your task.

In your role, you are the contact person for customers, brokers, lawyers and other parties involved in the loss for complex issues.

With your expertise, you will identify and recognize recourse options and fraud indicators and initiate appropriate measures.

Last but not least, you will be the technical representative of the team leader, including support with technical decisions and knowledge transfer within the team.

Requirements

• In your daily work, you benefit from strong communication skills, a confident demeanor and a high level of decision-making ability.
• You have the ability to take on professional responsibility and support colleagues in complex issues.
• You can convince with your assertiveness, sense of responsibility and resilience in demanding situations.
• You are skilled at evaluating household goods and you also have a good understanding of building construction and building materials.
• In addition, you have several years of experience in qualified claims processing in property insurance and in-depth knowledge of the insurance conditions (AVB) and relevant legal framework.
• Completed commercial or legal training, ideally in an insurance environment, rounds off your profile.
