Claims adjuster technical insurance - renewable energies/wind energy

Role Summary

The core of your work is the settlement of major and serial losses in the area of technical insurance at home and abroad, with a focus on the renewable energy segment.

As a major loss adjuster, you are responsible for the technical risk assessment, and you are also responsible for determining and assessing the cause of the damage.

You support, coach and advise claims handlers on technical topics.

You are also the contact person and interface for underwriting and product management.

The processing of claims below the major loss definition abroad or the coordination of claims processing by Eurapco's foreign branches and our network partners is also your area of responsibility.

Last but not least, you support claims management in the development of processes and reporting standards for foreign branches, Eurapco, network partners and service providers.

Requirements

• In your daily work, you benefit from excellent negotiation skills and persuasiveness as well as analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• You enjoy working across teams, have self-motivation, good time management and flexibility and feel comfortable in agile working environments.
• You can convince with your in-depth knowledge of systems for the use of renewable energy resources, your industry knowledge and an existing network in the field of renewable energies.
• You have already gained several years of professional experience with a technical insurer, an international insurance broker or a wind turbine manufacturer.
• In terms of subject matter, you have successfully completed a technical degree (e.g. mechanical or electrical engineering), ideally a postgraduate degree in insurance engineering.
• In addition, you have already gained experience in dealing with damage or handling warranty and guarantee cases with manufacturers.
• You have business fluent spoken and written English skills. Further foreign language skills are an advantage.
• A high level of willingness to travel, including outside of Germany, rounds off your profile.
