Within our GE Vernova entity based on our Massy site and specialized in the field of energy conversion, we are currently looking for an apprentice project quality engineer for a period of 24 to 36 months.
GE Power Conversion operates in the Oil & Gas, Marine and Industry, Power, Water, Wind, Data Center sectors and is part of GE VERNOVA, our portfolio bringing together our energy activities, which with its customers, supplies more than 1/3 of the world's electricity and focuses on a policy of decarbonization and development of more reliable, affordable and sustainable energy.
The apprentice will mainly be responsible for the following missions:
- Support the Project quality team in their mission
- Ensure the monitoring and application of project monitoring processes and their improvement.
- Carry out the identified continuous improvement actions, and in particular the improvement of tools, data visualization, automation of information collection and processes.
- Manage incident analyzes (root cause analysis, cause tree, 5 "whys", etc.) and the corresponding action plans.
- Ensure with the sales, project and service team the capitalization of internal and external problems and feedback
The apprentice will primarily be responsible for the following
- Support the Project Quality team in its daily activities.
- Ensure the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of project quality processes.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, particularly focusing on tool enhancement, data visualization, automation of data collection, and process automation.
- Conduct incident investigations using root cause analysis methodologies (Root Cause Analysis, Cause-and-Effect Analysis, 5 Whys, etc.) and coordinate the associated corrective action plans.
- Work closely with the Sales, Project, and Service teams to capture and capitalize on internal and external issues, as well as lessons learned.
Requirements
- You are currently preparing a quality engineering diploma, or industrial or general engineering
- You have a good sense of organization and a spirit of analysis and synthesis
- You are rigorous, responsive and autonomous and have a technical curiosity for the energy field
- Demonstrate adaptability and have good interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Excel, and Word, Power Point, Outlook.
- You have an appetite for digitalization and the implementation of tools
- You have good professional practice in English

- You are currently pursuing an engineering degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a general engineering discipline.
- You have strong organizational skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- You are detail-oriented, proactive, autonomous, and have a genuine interest in the energy sector.
- You are adaptable and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- You have an interest in digitalization and the implementation of digital tools.
- You have a good professional command of English.
