PraxisEins is growing - and with us the importance of high-quality laboratory diagnostics that is closely linked to patient care. For the professional support and further development of our laboratory diagnostic activities, we are looking for a medical coordinator for laboratory medicine who will provide technical support to our practice teams and be responsible for the quality of laboratory medicine in our network.
You take on a key role at the interface between medical responsibility, diagnostics and practice operations - and thus actively shape a central quality component of the PraxisEins network.
Responsibilities
- Professional responsibility: You will provide supervision and technical instructions for the provision of laboratory services in the private medical sector
- Quality assurance: You are responsible for compliance with group-wide laboratory medical quality standards and are the medical contact for laboratory diagnostic questions in our network
- Network-wide standardization: You communicate with our laboratory partners, support the laboratory diagnostic connection of new locations and ensure uniform technical standards
- Digital development: You drive the digitalization of our laboratory diagnostic processes - from intelligent validation logic to data-driven evaluations for controlling our parameter spectrum
Requirements
You have a specialist qualification in laboratory medicine or a comparable laboratory medicine qualification, for example:
- Specialist in laboratory medicine: or a related laboratory medical specialty (e.g. microbiology, virology and infection epidemiology, transfusion medicine, human genetics, pathology)
- Continuing education certificate with at least 6 months of advanced training in the field of laboratory medicine
- Additional training “Laboratory diagnostics – subject-specific”
- Comparable laboratory medicine expertise acquired as part of further medical training
Furthermore, we would like
- Experience in laboratory medicine, ideally with reference to parameters relevant to family medicine (clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, endocrinology)
- Familiarity with the quality assurance requirements of medical laboratory diagnostics
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with medical colleagues and practice teams at various locations
- Regular willingness to travel for face-to-face appointments at the locations of our laboratory partners and our practices in the network
- Structured, independent way of working and willingness to take on responsibility in a dynamic environment
