M&A Intern (m/w/d)

Role Summary

Our experienced colleagues come from leading companies such as BCG, McKinsey, Goldman Sachs and Oaktree Capital and have already successfully set up and expanded HealthTech rollups. Responsibilities

• M&A processes: Support in the strategy and implementation of practice acquisitions, including due diligence and financial modeling.
• Market and financial data analysis: Responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial and market data that is relevant for investment decisions.
• Sparring with the leadership team: Direct collaboration with our managers on important M&A topics and strategic decisions.
• Creation of decision matrices and background analyses: Development of decision-making principles to support the acquisition strategy.
• Research and negotiation preparation: Support in planning and conducting purchase price negotiations.
• Accounting and controlling: Assistance with operational tasks in the financial management of our practices.

Requirements

We are looking for ambitious talents who want more than a standard internship - a demanding task with a high level of personal responsibility and significant impact.

• Excellent academic performance and analytical strength.
• High affinity for numbers and MS Office skills, especially Excel; Knowledge of financial modeling is an advantage.
• Ambition and motivation to help us sustainably change the healthcare industry.
• Excellent communication skills in German (C2).
• (Ideally) first relevant experience in consulting, investment banking, PE, VC, or a similar area.
• Discretion and the ability to work in a focused manner in a challenging environment.
