(Senior) Projektleiter / Lead Construction Manager (w/m/d) EPCM Industry – Semiconductor Fabrication Plant

For overall responsibility for the construction work of a demanding, highly complex industrial project in the semiconductor industry, we are looking for a leader who takes responsibility, leads the project to success and has a real hands-on mentality.

Contractual home location: flexible – at a Drees & Sommer location of your choice throughout Germany

Place of work: in an EU bordering country west of Germany (100% willingness to travel required)

Higher-level construction management for the realization and commissioning of a highly complex industrial plant in the semiconductor industry / semiconductor fabrication

Overall responsibility for the timely, quality and cost-effective processing of the task packages in the construction, assembly and commissioning phase of the project as well as for compliance with the applicable guidelines in the area of occupational safety

• Content and organizational management responsibility of the construction site team in the various specialist trades as well as the subcontractors used
• Planning, controlling and coordinating the necessary capacities and resources with a view to achieving the project's objectives
• Regular reporting to stakeholders involved in the project and first contact person for the client on the construction site
• Active and continuous optimization of internal processes and procedures as well as training of those involved in the process

Requirements

• Completed studies in civil engineering, electrical engineering, supply engineering, architecture or a comparable qualification related to the construction industry
• Extensive and several years of well-founded professional experience in a position of overall responsibility, particularly in construction management as well as the assembly and commissioning of complex (EPCM) industrial projects in the high-tech environment described above
• Understanding of the entire planning, construction and execution process of large construction projects as well as entrepreneurial flair within the construction
• Knowledge of HOAI, AHO, VOB, FIDIC, RIBA as well as common risk management methodologies
• Fluent written and spoken German and English skills, and knowledge of Flemish or French are very advantageous
• Independent, conceptual, structured and cross-disciplinary way of working
• Solution-oriented negotiation skills and a good feel for people and issues
• Unrestricted project-related travel within Germany and Europe
