To strengthen our team in Hamburg, we are looking for a civil engineer (m/f/d) for structural hydraulic engineering as soon as possible.
As a civil engineer (m/f/d) in structural engineering, you will be part of our project team based in Hamburg and will actively help shape exciting projects. Your new role with us will focus on the following:
- Processing of projects in structural engineering, with a focus on hydraulic structures, immersed tunnels or special foundation engineering
- Object and structural planning of complex engineering structures across all performance phases
- Object and structural planning in special civil engineering (excavation pits, supporting structures, etc.) across all service phases
- About you
At Ramboll, we support you in your personal and professional development right from the start. To get started with us, you should have the following requirements:
You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering (Dipl.-Ing./M.Sc.) with a focus on structural engineering or geotechnics
You have around 5 - 10 years of professional experience in the planning and static calculations of structural engineering structures, preferably with reference to hydraulic structures (locks, port facilities, barrages, dams, culverts) or special civil engineering
- You have strong communication and teamwork skills and enjoy working independently
- You have very good knowledge of German and good English
- You have mastered the safe use of the relevant design software
- You are interested in sustainable construction and BIM

The hydraulic engineering and civil engineering group in Hamburg deals with classic topics in hydraulic engineering and civil engineering with a focus on projects in northern Germany. Within this group, you will work as part of a team of constructive engineers on challenging topics in object and structural planning. The focus is on the planning of quay walls, bank walls, jetties, locks and other exciting engineering structures from other disciplines. When working on these projects, we can rely on the knowledge and support of our many colleagues in the Ramboll Group worldwide.
