Role Summary

Monitoring of industrial activity

Challenge operational staff (production/logistics) to have reliable forecasts, and become the referent for proactively reporting alerts to management,

Prepare the various reports in conjunction with manufacturing managers,

Basically, work to improve the forecasting process and optimize the associated tools.

Validation of PRI

In charge of validating standard PRIs at the PF level, in conjunction with the LPA/LTY Technical Data services and the POMS Corporate manager.

Responsibilities

Monitoring of stock provisions and destruction

• Prepare the various reports and liaise with Corporate, Business or other sites for the reallocation of provisions,
• Monitor risks and, if necessary, draw up position papers.
• Ensure compliance with Group rules/procedures,
• Intervene with operational staff to provide more specific insight allowing awareness of the impact of errors,
• Being the financial referent for cross-functional subjects and steering committees: Product Portfolio Simplification, obsolescence committee, etc.

Monitoring of variances on purchases

• Build and update monthly the reporting of variances on purchases,
• Analyze the gaps vs. standards by working in close collaboration with the site's supply department and buyers,
• Contribute to the development of rolling forecasts,

Challenge buyers on action plans and forecasts/budgets.

Requirements

• Bac +5 in finance and/or management control
• Fluent English.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Rigor, autonomy, spirit of synthesis and sense of teamwork.
• Ability to understand industrial issues and challenge operational staff.
• 4/5 years of experience in management control, including 3 years ideally in an industrial environment
