Role Summary

My daily life

I contribute every day, through my interventions in audits and samples among numerous food professionals, to the protection and health of consumers. My job has meaning!

In the morning I take the car parked near my home and go to my first client located within an hour and a half of my home.

Depending on the schedules organized in advance by the support team of my Business Unit, I visit between 3 and 10 professionals per day, for whom I carry out according to the defined specifications:

Samples: surface, water, food (raw materials, finished dishes)

Audits: hygiene and structure to support the client in controlling food safety.

After each day of field intervention, I go to the nearest collection point to drop off my samples, which can then be analyzed by the laboratory.

I go home, I read my emails (approximately 0 to 5 per day), and I prepare for the next day.

My daily life is stimulating and varied: no two days are ever the same!

In order to carry out these missions, the company provides me with a service vehicle, computer equipment, a telephone, technical supplies... and above all a dynamic, competent and committed team, with whom I interact on a daily basis.

What I learn

As soon as I join, I go for 4 days of training to familiarize myself with the culture of my company, the procedures and internal tools (coding, sampling, tablet and computer software). A team of internal trainers welcomes me and supports me in my first steps within Eurofins.

Then I complete a three-week training course in duplicate with an experienced Auditor.

  • As a result, I am recognized as the Eurofins expert among my clients!
  • I also have the opportunity, after gaining experience, to progress to a manager position within my Business Unit and to supervise other auditors.
  • By joining the group, I also facilitate my internal mobility possibilities.
  • Beyond my scientific or agri-food training, I above all bring my dynamism, my organization and my motivation.
  • I am a hands-on person, capable of establishing a climate of trust with my clients.
  • Those close to me define me as someone invested and positive.
