Role Summary

Further development of accounting processes: You will continuously develop efficient and comprehensible processes and create the basis for uniform group accounting.

Evaluation of accounting issues: You analyze complex business transactions at an early stage and derive accounting consequences from them.

Representation of intra-group issues: You develop and monitor intra-group interrelationships and reflect them in the monthly financial statements.

Preparation of the consolidated financial statements: You will be involved in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including notes and management report, and will support transparent external reporting.

Participation in group accounting projects: You will contribute your IFRS know-how to cross-departmental projects and support their successful implementation.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in business administration with a focus on accounting or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting or in an auditing firm
  • Very good knowledge of the relevant accounting regulations, preferably with practical application of IFRS and HGB
  • Confident use of MS Office applications as well as knowledge of SAP FI/CO and consolidation systems are an advantage
  • Talented communicator with a high willingness to learn, who keeps a cool head even in stressful situations
  • Very good knowledge of German and good English
