Teamleitung BI Demand & Governance (w/m/d)

Role Summary

Leadership and further development of the BI Demand & Governance team: Through clear leadership, targeted support and regular exchange, you will develop a high-performance and committed team with a high level of personal responsibility.

Driving projects and programs forward: With your hands-on mentality, you and your team support analytical projects, create structure in requirements recording and lay the foundation for successful BI project management.

Ensuring BI demand processes: You ensure the consistent application of established best practices and thereby strengthen commitment, innovation and customer satisfaction.

Further development of BI governance processes: By continuously optimizing and monitoring the governance structures and the data governance tool Atlan, you increase transparency, efficiency and security in the handling of company data.

Ensuring the required data quality: Working closely with the domain teams, you will ensure that the data landscape meets the company's qualitative requirements and that deviations are responded to quickly.

Coordination of internal resources and external partners: With your eye for efficient collaboration, you ensure smooth processes and successful coordination across all units involved.

Requirements

• Completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in project management and disciplinary leadership of teams
• In-depth knowledge of BI governance and data catalog solutions, preferably with Atlan
• Routine in data quality management and the use of appropriate tools
• Familiarity with modern BI architectures and BI and database technologies, particularly Snowflake
• Know-how in the areas of reporting and data visualization, preferably with Qlik or Jedox
• Knowledge of data analysis, data modeling and data integration, ideally with dbt
• Willingness for intensive exchange and cooperation, strategy orientation as well as time and resource management
• Very good knowledge of German and English
