Training as a media designer for digital and print (m/f/d) at Axel Springer News Media National in Berlin, BE, Germany.

Role Summary

  • You will work on the planning, conception and design of our media products in digital and print
  • develop a professional feel for typography, layout, composition, color, shapes and imagery
  • Learn important design basics, from image editing, layout and typography to working with text and image data
  • You will learn how to use the Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and other design tools and use them in your everyday work
  • you develop websites using CSS and HTML
  • design the content for digital channels, social media formats of individual brands or training projects such as the trainee account
  • With the "Springer:ling" magazine you take on responsibility in a self-organized trainee project with a visible reach within the company

Requirements

you have successfully completed your high school diploma or your technical high school diploma (soon).

  • Your passion includes a sense of aesthetics and visual harmony
  • you are enthusiastic about media and can design with fonts, images, shapes and colors
  • In addition to very good eyesight and color discrimination, you also have good spelling skills
  • you have very good German (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
