Role Summary

The dual course focuses on business administration - supplemented by practical media modules that specifically prepare you for work in the media industry

Your theoretical phases at the DHBW Ravensburg and your practical phases at Axel Springer in Berlin directly intertwine, so that you gain valuable professional experience right from the start and build a strong foundation for your future

During the practical phases, you will be firmly integrated into teams, supporting, among other things, B2B and B2C projects, event organizations, marketing campaigns and concept developments

  • You have the opportunity to get to know different departments and actively select practical positions - with a lot of personal responsibility and strong support
  • Instead of the classic semester break, you can expect a varied mix of theory and practice
  • At the university you benefit from a class feeling in your year, a lot of exchange and an industry-related environment

Requirements

  • You have (soon) successfully completed your Abitur and have a great eagerness to learn and interest in economic contexts
  • you are enthusiastic about media, marketing and digital business models - and want to understand how brands, products and campaigns become economically successful
  • you are curious, innovative and like to contribute your own ideas instead of just completing tasks
  • You work independently, take on responsibility and maintain an overview even during intensive theoretical and practical phases
  • You are aware that a dual course of study is demanding: compulsory attendance, intensive examination phases, project work and switching between Ravensburg and Berlin are part of it for you
  • New challenges motivate you - whether in your studies, in a team or in collaboration with customers and departments
  • you have very good German (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)

Benefits

  • an open and modern work culture - with us everyone is on a first-name basis
  • Look forward to a free lunch with a variety of dishes in our employee restaurants
  • joint trainee events, weekly check-ins and plenty of space for personal exchange
  • the opportunity to do an internship at home or abroad (ERASMUS+)
  • the option to take over after successful completion of your training
