Location:: Los Vilos - Las Palmas, Coquimbo, Chile
Work arrangement:: On-site

Role Summary

Supervise and technically verify on the ground the correct execution of the works associated with the replacement of structures E6 and E7 of the transmission line, ensuring compliance with plans, technical specifications, procedures and standards defined for the project.

Main activities

Supervise in the field the disassembly and assembly activities associated with the replacement of structures E6 and E7.

Verify that the works are executed in accordance with plans, technical specifications and approved procedures.

Control and validate the assembly, plumb, leveling, torque and fixing activities of structures.

Verify the correct execution of foundations and elements associated with the assembly of the new structures.

Supervise and validate activities related to the laying, tensioning and connection of conductors and elements of the transmission line, when applicable.

Review and validate execution, inspection and quality control protocols.

Record progress, observations and deviations detected during the execution of the work.

Technically coordinate with contractors and other specialties involved in the project.

Promptly report any technical deviation that may affect the quality, safety or scheduling of the work.

Requirements

Civil Electrical Engineer, Electrical Execution Engineer, Electrical Technician or related professional.
Experience in transmission lines and assembly of electrical structures.
Experience in technical inspection and supervision of field work.
Knowledge of assembly of structures, conductors, hardware and activities associated with transmission lines.
Ability to review plans, technical specifications and protocols.
Availability for field work.
