Role Summary
Transmission line projects - South Central Zone
Supervise and verify compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards in the field.
Carry out preventive inspections and observations during the execution of the work.
Verify compliance with work procedures, risk matrices and control measures.
Control the correct use of PPE and safety conditions on work fronts.
Supervise activities associated with the construction and assembly of electrical transmission lines.
Verify safety conditions in work at height, lifting, excavations, foundations, assembly of structures and electrical lines.
Participate in the identification of hazards, risk assessment and definition of preventive measures.
Prepare and/or review reports, records and protocols associated with SSO.
Timely report deviations and support the implementation of corrective actions.
Coordinate and maintain permanent communication with field teams and project managers.
Requirements
- Technician or Engineer in Risk Prevention.
- Experience in Occupational Safety and Health in electrical and/or construction projects.
- Experience in electrical transmission line projects.
- Experience in field work inspection and risk control.
- Knowledge of work at height, lifting, excavations, assembly of structures and electrical wiring.
- Management of work procedures, risk matrices and SSO documentation.
- Ability to detect deviations and generate preventive and corrective actions.
- Availability to work on the ground under a 5x2 shift.
