Role Summary

Within the Digital Platform Services (DPS) entity, you will join the Lyon agency made up of 100 employees as well as a team at a major Energy account client in a stimulating environment.

Depending on the missions entrusted to you, you are required to evolve within Sopra Steria internal teams in outsourcing type services or you are directly integrated into client teams.

Throughout your career in the Group, you are supported by your operational manager, who is present in close contact with your mission, and who supports you in your career development.

Your role and missions

As part of a team of experts, as L3 support, you support critical applications on an infrastructure and system scope.

You carry out performance analysis, recommend optimizations and control the performance level of infrastructure bases.

You invest in performance and robustness tests to allow applications to evolve peacefully.

You are in charge of RUN by improving the existing system and being proactive to avoid service disruptions or degradations. You also provide an in-depth diagnosis of the scope's technologies and propose improvement actions.

You implement relevant indicators for monitoring RUN and other operating platforms.

You contribute to the installation and development of tools but also to the resolution of production crises. You position yourself as a privileged player with strong analytical capacity and expertise in infrastructure areas.

You work closely with different management teams with DevOps operation to be informed of future changes in production. You proactively put in place the means of supervising new technical components.

Your ability to work in a team allows you to share on the functioning of the IS and managed applications. This will allow you to identify the impact of applications on the infrastructure and share best practices.

You are responsible for the service's security commitment to the system by implementing and deploying security actions.

Missions may be carried out on-call and/or outside working hours.

Your technical environment may consist of

• Expertise on Linux platforms (Redhat and Debian) and/or Windows Server
• Windows AD proficiency
• Mastery of Operating Infrastructures: global knowledge in System, Network, Storage, Backup, Supervision
• SAFe methodology

Requirements

• Your organizational skills, your sense of customer service, your responsiveness, your ability to adapt and work as a team are all assets to succeed in this mission.
• You are also proactive and have writing skills with a good analytical mind.
• Graduate from an engineering school or equivalent, do you already have significant experience of at least 5 years in a similar role? Then this position is for you!
