Role Summary
Your role and missions
As a Linux Systems Engineer, your role is to satisfy production requests and customer projects on different technologies.
You maintain and administer customer infrastructures
- You manage the availability of customer infrastructures
- You administer Linux components, in a virtualized or on-premise environment
- You are in charge of support for Linux environments and carrying out current operations and maintenance
You document and monitor
You are in charge of writing and maintaining operational documentation
You generate activity and capacity reports for Linux system infrastructures
You resolve incidents and contribute to projects
- You process and monitor the resolution of incidents across all customer infrastructures
- You are involved in Linux infrastructure development projects
- Possibility of participating in on-call duties

- You will join the Sopra Steria company within the Digital Platform Services entity, with a dynamic team in a stimulating environment.
- Depending on the missions entrusted to you, you are required to evolve within Sopra Steria internal teams in outsourcing type services or you are directly integrated into client teams. You are supported by a dynamic team who will make you take an active part in the project as a whole.

- Switching, Routing (N2, N3, N4)

- Infrastructure supervision
- Virtualization: VMWare, VSphere, VCenter
- Graduate of an engineering school or university equivalent, you already have significant experience of at least 5 years in IT Infrastructure on the Systems side and more particularly on Linux/Unix technologies.
- You are autonomous, rigorous and pragmatic. You also have a good sense of service and customer relations.
