Role Summary

As part of our North West Europe Service Projects team, you actively participate in the deployment and support of critical IT solutions for our clients.

Concretely, you are involved at all stages of projects: from needs analysis to commissioning and support, including installation and configuration of systems.

You work with various environments (servers, networks, virtualization, applications) on our solutions dedicated to security (Checkpoint, Hold Baggage).

You also help to guarantee the performance, safety and reliability of installations over time.

Responsibilities

  • Support project, commercial and technical teams on IT and network subjects
  • Participate in discussions with customers to understand their technical needs
  • Install, configure and maintain computer systems (servers, virtual machines, operating systems)
  • Contribute to the integration of our solutions into customer environments
  • Provide maintenance, updates and support (remote and on-site)
  • Optimize and administer virtualized environments (VMware)
  • Diagnose and resolve technical incidents
  • Write and maintain technical documentation
  • Apply best practices (quality, security, ITIL)

Participate in a punctual on-call system.

Requirements

Technical skills

  • Proven experience in IS engineering (installation, support, diagnostics)
  • Bac+2/3 in IS or engineering (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in Windows Server / Linux / Unix
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN networks
  • VMware experience (ESX/ESXi), a popular certification
  • Knowledge of ITIL and customer environments
  • Good analytical skills, troubleshooting

Able to create and maintain relationships – excellent communication skills.
