IT support technician

Role Summary

Based in Nantes with some occasional trips to France, reporting to the France Service Desk Manager, you will notably take charge of the following missions:

• Support for remote assistance requests (level 2)

o Assistance to international level 1 teams

o Requalification of tickets opened by users;

o 1st level incident handling;

o Dispatch of requests to the relevant IT services;

o Site backup management

• Local support (level 2)

o Local user support;

o Preparation of computer and telephone stations;

o Deployment of equipment, in collaboration with systems and network teams;

o Maintenance of the analytical and office network;

o Control and assistance with service providers’ activities (installation of instrument software and analytical equipment)

• Participation in Group projects

o Operations planning;

o Deployments, Migration, Integration;

o Reporting

Requirements

• Initial training: BAC+2/3 or equivalent experience.
• Mandatory knowledge: Windows 7, Windows 10, PC operation (installation, drivers, troubleshooting, etc.), Active Directory (level 1), Exchange (level 1), Windows/NTFS rights management, network protocols and services: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, etc.
• Optional knowledge: Terminal Server, Incident management tools (OTRS, GLPI, Remedy, other), Deployment tools (MDT, RES, SCCM), Powershell, Fixed and Mobile Telephony (PABX, TOIP, ActiveSync), backup tools (Veeam, Symantec)
• Desired experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the position.
• Languages: Technical English required / fluent desired.
• Other: B license required.
