Systems Engineer - Defense & Security - Le Plessis-Robinson

Role Summary

Within the Defense and Security BU of CS GROUP, you will join the IT & NETWORK Department of the Technical Department. As a Systems Engineer, you work across the entire life cycle of IT infrastructures, in sensitive environments, ensuring their availability, performance and security. You also participate in user support and the continuous improvement of IT services.

You will also be able to design and create the architectures of certain projects of our clients.

Technical Environment

• Dell PowerVault Storage, Qnap NAS, Synology NAS, DELL Servers
• OS (Redhat environment or derived from Redhat, CentOS, Fedora)
• Linux OpenSource Tools and Services
• Virtualization (KVM, Ovirt, ProxMox)
• Microsoft tools and services

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include

• Design and evolution of IT infrastructures (hardware and software) under Linux (CentOS, Fedora, Red Hat) and Microsoft (Windows Server 2022, Windows 10/11).
• Deployment, configuration and maintenance of servers and workstations (Linux and Windows).
• Guarantee the availability, security and continuity of service of the information system (MCO/MCS).
• Industrialize IT operations, through the identification, creation and deployment of automation and management tools.
• Diagnosis, treatment and resolution of incidents.
• Writing technical documentation (procedures, integration files, documentary repository).

Requirements

• You are an engineer by training, with solid technical experience, and you want to contribute to high-stakes projects.
• You know how to manage your subjects with autonomy, while combining agility, rigor and sense of priorities.
• You enjoy working in a team and mobilizing collectively to achieve a common goal: customer satisfaction.
• With a good spirit of analysis and synthesis, you are comfortable formalizing technical solutions and producing clear and structured documentation.
