• Develop, maintain and evolve corporate applications built in Java 7 and Java 8;
• Act in the support and modernization of legacy systems based on monolithic architecture;
• Perform technical analysis, identify technical debts and define modernization strategies;
• Develop new applications and services using Java 21 and modern frameworks from the Java ecosystem;
• Design and implement solutions based on microservices architecture and hexagonal architecture;
• Define and implement secure, scalable and resilient REST APIs;
• Participate in the decomposition of monoliths for distributed architectures;
• Apply Clean Code, SOLID, Design Patterns and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) practices;
• Contribute to code reviews, definition of development standards and good engineering practices;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in agile processes;
• Support the evolution of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines;

Participate in performance analysis, observability and troubleshooting in productive environments.

Legacy Systems

• Java 7 and/or Java 8
• Framework Structures
• JSP, Servlets and associated libraries
• Enterprise monolithic applications
• Integrations via SOAP and legacy services
• Relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server or PostgreSQL)

Practical experience with

• Java 17 or higher (preferably Java 21)
• Spring Boot
• Microservices
• Hexagonal Architecture (Ports & Adapters)
• REST APIs
• Messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar)
• Docker Containers
• Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Observability and monitoring
• Software Engineering

Requirements

Advanced knowledge in

• Clean Code
• SOLID
• Design Patterns
• Unit testing and integration
• Git
• CI/CD
• Agile Methods (Scrum/Kanban)
• Differences
• Experience in application modernization programs.
• Experience in migrating Struts applications to Spring Boot.
• Knowledge in Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of Cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Knowledge in Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience in high availability and mission critical environments.

Desirable Training

Completed Higher Education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering or related areas.

• Postgraduate degree, MBA or specialization in areas such as:
• Software Architecture;
• Software Engineering;
• Solutions Architecture;
• Distributed Systems;
• Cloud Computing;
• Application Modernization.
• Certifications related to the Java ecosystem, Cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps or Software Architecture will be considered an advantage.

Support the definition of personalization and communication strategies based on customer behavior and profile.

Good communication and ease of teamwork.

Experience with integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other platforms.

Excel and data analysis tools.

Create and evolve communication rules and customer relationship strategies, focusing on retention, engagement and loyalty;

Develop and implement automated marketing journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud;

Build, configure and monitor automations through tools such as Data Extensions (DE), Automation Studio and Journey Builder;

Segment customer bases for targeted campaigns and communications;

Plan and execute multichannel journeys, ensuring a consistent experience throughout the relationship cycle;

Configure triggers, entry rules, segmentation criteria and automated actions in journeys;
