Responsibilities

• Central scheduling of our own and third-party delivery vehicles
• Determination of the required loading space, vehicle category, loading/delivery equipment
• Coordinating delivery dates with customers, colleagues and drivers while taking economic company interests into account
• Optimization of services through computer-supported tour planning with the use of telematics systems
• Ensuring and improving the service level and profitability of the department
• Compliance with social, transport, hazardous goods and hazardous substance regulations

Requirements

• Completed commercial training in the field of logistics, wholesale and foreign trade management or comparable
• In-depth knowledge of several product groups in the traditional building materials trade is an advantage, especially with regard to volume and packaging of the items
• ideally first experience in the area of scheduling or transport control
• ideally first experience in dealing with SAP R/3 module SD and MM
• Independent, responsible way of working and ability to work in a team
• good MS Office knowledge
