(Junior) buyer (m/f/d) for personal needs & purchasing platform

Role Summary

In this position, you will oversee the entire purchasing process in a modern end-to-end purchasing model. You are responsible for selected product groups for your own needs, from strategic orientation to tenders and supplier negotiations to the maintenance and further development of the BIOS purchasing platform. You will make an important contribution to optimizing our procurement processes and ensuring high data quality. Independent operational and strategic processing/support of the assigned main cost type groups of your own requirements.

• Operational and strategic support of the assigned product groups for your own needs
• Execution of tenders as well as preparation and management of contract and price negotiations with suppliers
• Preparation of market, price and supplier analyzes to identify optimization and savings potential
• Processing inquiries from internal customers as well as obtaining, evaluating and negotiating offers
• Creation of offer comparisons and award recommendations taking into account the applicable purchasing guidelines
• Complete and audit-proof documentation of procurement processes
• Creation and management of framework agreements as well as maintenance of supplier master data in the digital contract management system
• Independent maintenance and further development of product group, supplier and product master data in the BIOS purchasing platform
• Ensuring high data quality and continuous optimization of procurement and ordering processes

Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial training, ideally supplemented by specialist further training in purchasing
• Initial professional experience in purchasing or a comparable commercial function is desirable
• Affinity to digital processes and experience in dealing with purchasing systems is an advantage
• Confident use of Microsoft Office applications; Knowledge of AI-supported working methods is a plus
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as organizational skills
• Negotiation confidence, strong communication skills and a confident appearance
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working
• High level of teamwork and the ability to set priorities
• Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of spoken and written English
