Project Director / Senior Projektleiter (w/m/d) EPCM Industry – Life Science und Pharma-Industrie

For overall responsibility for demanding, highly complex industrial projects, especially with a focus on projects in the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries, we are looking for a leader who takes responsibility, leads projects to success and has a real hands-on mentality.

Location: flexible – anywhere in Germany at a Drees & Sommer location of your choice

Overall responsibility for highly complex and large-volume EPCM projects with a focus on high-tech industrial buildings and large-scale facilities, such as pharmaceutical production facilities or similar.

• Holistic strategic-operational project management responsibility including the achievement of contribution margin, quality and efficiency goals
• Proactively making all necessary project decisions regarding costs, deadlines and quality specifications
• Leading the project teams involved in a holistic approach consisting of technical competence, quality management and budget responsibility
• Controlling collaboration, ensuring proactive communication and sparring between internal and external stakeholders throughout the entire project
• Design and conceptual and process-related development of project management workflows

Requirements

• Completed studies in architecture, civil engineering, electrical engineering, supply engineering, chemical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Extensive and several years of well-founded professional experience in a position of overall responsibility, particularly in project management of complex (EPCM) industrial projects in the high-tech environment described above
• Understanding of the entire planning and execution process of large construction projects as well as entrepreneurial flair within project management
• Knowledge of HOAI, AHO, VOB, FIDIC, RIBA as well as common risk management methodologies
• Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
• Independent, conceptual, structured and cross-disciplinary way of working
• Solution-oriented negotiation skills and a good feel for people and issues
• Unrestricted project-related travel within Germany and Europe
