Praktikant (w/m/d) Real Estate & Real Asset Finance

Role Summary

Are you enthusiastic about numbers, strategic questions and the development of individual solutions? Would you like to gain initial practical experience in strategic consulting and work on challenging projects in the areas of real assets, distressed real estate and public finance? Then become part of our team and support us from January 1st, 2027, ideally for a period of six months, for the analysis, evaluation, restructuring and strategic development of real estate, infrastructure and special asset classes.

• Support in the analysis of real estate projects, real estate portfolios and complex real asset constellations
• Participation in the creation of business plans, cash flow models, economic efficiency, investment and scenario analyses
• Development and evaluation of turnaround, restructuring, repositioning and other strategic action concepts
• Research and strategic support for real estate, infrastructure and neighborhood developments in interdisciplinary teams
• Familiarization with new markets, innovative special asset classes as well as topics relating to infrastructure, renewables and real estate
• Support in the creation of presentations and decision-making bases for banks, investors, owners, municipalities and public authorities

Requirements

• Study of real estate management, economics, business administration, industrial engineering (construction) or a comparable course of study
• Confident use of MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint; ideally initial knowledge of financial modeling
• Strong affinity for numbers as well as analytical, structured and networked thinking skills
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English (at least B2 level)
• Initial practical experience in the areas of corporate finance, consulting, banking, private equity, restructuring or real estate is an advantage
• High level of initiative, ability to work in a team and motivation to delve into complex economic issues
