  • You know the entire onboarding process for battery storage, PV systems and DERs in detail, from data collection to connection to trading and direct marketing.
  • You independently manage ongoing customer relationships and are the reliable contact person in the team for defined process steps.
  • You have built reliable relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders and are well integrated into the team both professionally and personally.
  • You have taken on your first projects of your own and are driving them forward independently in order to implement concrete improvements in our processes.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU DO WITH US

As an Operations Associate - Battery Solutions, you will shape the operational scaling of our flexibility services:

  • Onboarding of new Flex customers: You manage and develop the entire technical onboarding of our new customers into our virtual power plant (VPP) and initiate their inclusion in electricity supply and direct marketing. You will also ensure that everything runs smoothly throughout the entire process, from data collection to coordination with all relevant parties.
  • Hands-on ownership: You take responsibility for defined processes along the customer journey and drive your topics forward independently.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: You will work closely with Sales, Product, Tech, Operations and external partners to ensure smooth onboarding and an excellent customer experience.
  • Architect: in efficient processes: You will improve our processes that make our operations future-proof, efficient and precise. As trawa grows rapidly and expands into new markets, there are regular opportunities to rethink processes from the ground up.
  • Pragmatic problem solver: You identify challenges early, make data-based decisions and continuously improve quality and efficiency.

Requirements

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Relevant experience: Initial experience with energy companies, network operators, start-ups, in specialized consultancies or in other dynamic environments - ideally in the field of renewable energies.
  • Interest in the energy industry: Ideally, you have already gained initial insights into topics such as direct marketing, virtual power plants, metering or the control of battery storage systems and would like to develop further in this area.
  • Excellent communication skills: You approach customers professionally, clearly and in a solution-oriented manner, both written and verbal, even in difficult situations. You work just as confidently internally with Sales, Product and Tech, among others, and translate between commercial, operational and technical perspectives.
  • High quality standards: “Zero defects” is not just a slogan for you, but a requirement for yourself and your team.
  • High ownership in a dynamic environment: You prioritize wisely, make decisions quickly and turn ideas into scalable processes with noticeable business impact.

  • Technology affinity: You are confident in using PowerPoint and Excel, can confidently evaluate data and visualizations and have a penchant for AI-supported tools and automation platforms.
  • Language skills: You speak German at a native level and very good English. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Passion for the energy transition: You are enthusiastic about renewable energies and want to actively contribute to it.

You will participate in the processes along the Battery & Flexibility customer journey and develop structures that enable sustainable, repeatable growth.

YOUR TEAM

Flex Customer Onboarding is the operations team responsible for the entire onboarding journey for battery storage, PV systems and other distributed energy resources (DERs). We manage the entire process – from asset capture and technical integration into the VPP to connection to trading and direct marketing. We work closely with external stakeholders, e.g. customers, installers, battery manufacturers, network operators and other partners.
