Role Summary

Supervise activities related to occupational safety, aiming to ensure conditions that eliminate or reduce to a minimum the risks of occupational accidents, observing compliance with all relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify the risks of the work process and prepare the risk map, with the participation of the largest number of workers;
  • Develop and coordinate work plans that enable preventive action to solve occupational health and safety problems;
  • Participate in the implementation and quality control of necessary prevention measures, as well as in the assessment of action priorities in workplaces;
  • Periodically carry out checks on working environments and conditions to identify situations that may pose risks to the safety and health of workers;
  • Carry out, at each meeting, an assessment of compliance with the goals set in your work plan and discuss the risk situations that have been identified;
  • Disclose to workers information relating to safety and health at work;
  • Participate in discussions promoted by the employer, to assess the impacts of changes in the environment and work process related to the safety and health of workers.
  • Request copies of the CAT issued from the company.
  • Request the employer to stop a machine or sector where it considers there to be a serious and imminent risk to the safety and health of workers;
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of the PCMSO and PGR and other programs related to safety and health at work;
  • Publicize and promote compliance with Regulatory Standards, as well as clauses in agreements and collective labor conventions, relating to occupational health and safety;
  • Participate, together with the employer, in the analysis of the causes of illnesses and accidents at work and propose measures to solve the problems identified;
  • Request from the employer and analyze information on issues that have interfered with the safety and health of workers;
  • Promote the Internal Work Accident Prevention Week – SIPAT annually;
  • Participate annually, together with the company, in AIDS Prevention Campaigns.

Requirements

  • Training: Occupational Safety Technician Course, recognized in MT;
  • Technical course at medium professional level in related areas;
  • Have proven experience in the Energy area (Supervision of Transmission Lines and Substations)

Benefits

  • Working hours: 8am to 5pm (Mon-Fri) and Saturdays 8am to 12pm
  • Work Regime: In-person
