Role Summary

All our professions are open to people with disabilities.

BACKGROUND

The “de-perimeterization” of the corporate information system (IS), an anticipatory vision imagined by the Jericho Forum in the early 2000s, is about to become a reality thanks to the massive adoption of the Cloud and teleworking.

From a centralized IS where resources are mostly hosted at the company's Datacenters and where users work mainly from the company's premises, we are moving towards a decentralized IS where resources are distributed between Datacenters and one or more Cloud environments, and where users can work from anywhere.

Faced with such a transformation which has the effect of increasing the attack surface of the IS and a cyber threat which almost always finds a way to penetrate the IS, traditional security models, based on the implementation of network security perimeters and trust zones are called into question.

In this context, the Zero Trust philosophy is experiencing significant popularity. However, if the theoretical principles are today relatively well known and understood, many companies are wondering about the concrete approach to implementing a Zero Trust model.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the internship are to demonstrate the feasibility of a Zero Trust architecture and to evaluate its level of security through the design and implementation of a demonstrator.

WORK TO BE CARRIED OUT

  • Under the supervision of a consultant and the guidance of a manager, the intern may be required to carry out part or all of the following work:
  • Definition of demonstrator use cases and its functional architecture
  • Identification and study of market solutions enabling the implementation of a Zero Trust architecture
  • Definition of the technical architecture of the demonstrator
  • Implementation of the demonstrator in a Cloud environment
  • Assessment of the security level of the model and the limits of current solutions

The title and exact framing of the internship subject or the work to be carried out will be confirmed at the start of the internship.

Graduate or future graduate of an engineering school, business school or university, you have solid training and/or a marked interest in technological and cybersecurity issues.

Above all, we are looking for curious, structured profiles with strong analytical skills, capable of working on complex issues and interacting with both business and technical contacts.

All our end-of-study internships are part of a pre-employment approach.
