Role Summary

Our more than 3,000 procurement and logistics employees work in more than 100 countries, sourcing and delivering millions of products and services in more than 200 categories from thousands of suppliers around the world. We are looking for a purchasing intern with fluent knowledge of German. In this role, you will support our team in providing high-level services to our internal customers in the Procurement area. To achieve this, you will work closely with purchasing managers, purchasing team members and internal stakeholders across Europe.

We offer a paid internship with the option of working remotely or from the office - depending on your preferences (the office is located in the heart of the city, on Pawia Street in Krakow). You can work 25-40 hours a week and your working hours are flexible to allow you to easily combine work and studies. Responsibilities

  • Support the team in initiating orders in the system, confirming deliveries with suppliers, monitoring and tracking order fulfillment as required
  • Data entry and data verification tasks
  • Communicate with suppliers, buyers, technicians, project managers and production planners via email and telephone
  • Additional tasks after completing the training and learning the basic processes: creating more complex orders in international projects, helping to verify the correctness of invoices, cooperation with the accounting department, refreshing contracts, observing and gaining knowledge about negotiations
  • Learning to use the SAP system

Requirements

Your competences

  • You are a student of a university (1-4 years)
  • You are open to gaining knowledge in the field of supply chains and logistics (no previous experience is required)
  • You are fluent in Polish, German and English (B2+)
  • You are a proactive, organized person and you pay great attention to details
  • You have good communication skills
  • You have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
