Role Summary

Tasks for the Customs Specialist

  • Preparing import declarations and customs corrections for JYSK warehouses
  • Preparing documentation required for customs clearance
  • Communicating with customs authorities
  • Monitoring changes in customs law and initiating their implementation into the customs system
  • Coordinating the process of customs clearance of food contact products at JYSK
  • Cooperation with JYSK distribution centers in Europe

Requirements

Experience in the field of logistics

Experience in a similar position

Knowledge of customs and tax regulations as well as EU regulations regarding the import and export of goods.

  • Practical experience in working with customs documents - welcome
  • Licensed Customs Agent - welcome
  • Ability to set goals and set priorities
  • Knowledge of English at a level enabling communication
  • Openness to cooperation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office, mainly Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system is desirable
  • Knowledge of one of the languages preferred (Dutch, Bulgarian, Hungarian, German, Spanish)
