High school diploma program for business specialist m/f/d, TC Grimma, September 1st, 2027

Role Summary

Your training – 35 months (3 years)

three state-recognized IHK qualifications in 35 months: shortened training as a “merchant (m/f/d) for wholesale and foreign trade management” (18 months), further training as a “trading specialist (m/f/d)” (17 months) and trainer certificate (Ada certificate)

Theory phases: Take place at the Handel Academy and are possible at the Augsburg, Bayreuth, Munich, Nuremberg, Regensburg and Würzburg locations. You will be in the theory phase for between one and three weeks per quarter. You will encounter general economic principles as well as content from the retail industry. You will be taught the following course content: corporate management and control, procurement and logistics, trade marketing, sales management, employee and conversation management, e-commerce, purchasing and other commercial basics.

Practical phases: Getting to know everyday work at BayWa with comprehensive insights into trading and sales - primarily customer advice and communication with manufacturers and suppliers, determining needs as well as procurement, storage and control of our goods.
