Head of SAP Development and Interfaces m/f/d

Role Summary

Management and further development of the team (9 employees) in the area of SAP development and interfaces and the associated technologies as well as the system and application architecture

• Advancing innovative & future-proof technologies and building the necessary internal and external resources
• Communication with departments and users regarding potential solutions and projects
• Budget and specialist responsibility for the team and external resources
• Function as a coach and mentor for all team members as well as a liaison with other teams in and outside the area
• Responsible for project implementation and the stable operation of applications and products

Requirements

• Completed degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification
• Proven experience and enjoyment of leading and developing teams
• Several years of experience in the area of SAP programming (including knowledge of ABAP and ABAP OO) and/or in the area of interface development
• In-depth experience with the SAP BTP, S/4HANA, SAP PO platforms
• In-depth experience with technologies such as BAP, Fiori and RAP, CDS, OData, REST and SOAP, EDI/IDoc processing as well as dealing with cloud integrations
• Ability to express complicated issues in an understandable manner and to convey them accordingly
• Proven communication skills - especially as an interface between the department and IT as well as between the IT teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Very good knowledge of German and good English
