Role Summary

You are part of an agile team with a focus on modeling products, workflows/processes and user interfaces (UI/UX) across the entire development cycle on the low-code platform used at BarmeniaGothaer.

Here you configure, among other things: Business transactions, products and processes and program simple issues including testing.

You will coordinate closely with other disciplines involved in the process, such as business analysis and IT development.

You apply requirements engineering methods and carry out tests in the relevant target systems (testing the results in the target system, carrying out developer test cases as well as defect analysis and elimination).

Your tasks will also include the development of new, generic solution models (standard-compliant reuse of BarmeniaGothaer-specific functions) and their implementation.

Requirements

• You are characterized by very high analytical and conceptual competence and impress us with your high IT affinity.
• In addition, you enjoy agile project work and have practical experience in this area.
• You have completed vocational training or a degree in the insurance sector or in business administration, business informatics or a comparable area and ideally experience in the insurance sector.
• Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in programming or configuration and have a certification as a “Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering, Foundation Level” or higher as well as basic knowledge of test methodology and test tools (e.g. ALM).
• Experience in product management (ideally in the area of property/casualty insurance) or in process flows in individual corporate customer business or in development projects (alternatively in the support of core insurance applications) rounds off your profile.
