Responsibilities
Your tasks at a glance
- Incoming goods inspection: You carry out visual and functional inspections according to inspection plans and ensure that the requirements are met.
- Traceability: You check item data, batches, best before date/bb as well as delivery and accompanying documents.
- Evaluation & action control: You evaluate test results technically and document them in the system, decide on approvals and derive targeted measures.
- Complaint management & interface work: You initiate and process complaints and coordinate closely with purchasing, logistics and suppliers on quality issues.
- Inventory & inspection plan management: You manage blocked stocks in goods receipt and create, maintain and optimize dynamic inspection plans in the ERP system.
- Optimization & Projects: You take on (sub-)projects in your own area and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality, testing and goods receipt processes.
Requirements
This is what you bring with you – professional expertise meets quality awareness:
- Completed technical or scientific training (e.g. packaging mechanic (m/f/d), chemical-technical assistant (m/f/d) or materials tester (m/f/d)) or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in quality testing or assurance, ideally in the area of packaging or plastics
- You have knowledge of the main materials (PET, rPET, HD-PE, LD-PE, PP, cardboard) and are confident in handling test equipment and procedures in a laboratory environment
- Ideally, you have experience with chemical-physical tests (e.g. pH value, viscosity, density) as well as with sample tests and test plans (e.g. AQL, risk-based)
- You will also impress with your analytical, careful and structured way of working as well as your communication skills
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English
