Expert (f/m/d) EPCM Industry – HSSE (Health & Safety & Security Environment) / occupational safety, environmental and health protection

As an expert in occupational safety, environmental and health protection, you will support our highly complex industrial plant projects in the HSSE area, from planning through implementation to commissioning.

Implementation, monitoring and improvement of the HSSE strategy to ensure compliance with relevant national and international guidelines and standards and to continually improve the performance of the HSSE system

Identification, assessment and management of environmental, health and safety risks; Implementation of measures to reduce risks and promote a safety culture in the project and throughout the company

Ensuring efficient HSSE communication with the involvement of employees

Support HSSE training and employee awareness programs to increase awareness and compliance with HSSE standards

Ensuring proper emergency management (updating emergency plans, organizing emergency drills, etc.

Regularly monitor HSSE performance and prepare regular reports for internal management and external authorities-identify opportunities to improve HSSE performance and promote continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Completed studies in environmental management, safety technology, occupational safety, engineering or a comparable qualification
• Training as an occupational safety specialist (ideally BGRCI) or professional qualifications as an incident, fire protection and emissions control officer are an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable role, ideally in industrial plant construction (oil & gas, semiconductors, batteries, chemicals, pharmaceuticals)
• Very good knowledge of the relevant legislation and ideally certifications in the area of EHS/HSSE, such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or similar, as well as experience in the application of HSSE management systems
• Goal- and solution-oriented behavior paired with a high level of initiative and high communication skills with different stakeholders
• High willingness to travel for project-related construction site assignments within Germany and Europe - at least 70% travel
