Role Summary

For BEW Berliner Energie undwärme GmbH we are looking for you as a technician/master craftsman in maintenance with a focus on electrical engineering/mechatronics at the Lichterfelde/Wilmersdorf power plant group location (Berlin) as soon as possible in a permanent position.

You ensure that the generation park in Berlin is operational to its maximum potential.

Responsibilities

• You manage and monitor maintenance, repair and assembly work
• You carry out troubleshooting and repairs independently
• You recognize or identify special risks associated with carrying out the work and create or control risk assessments
• You take measures to carry out the work safely
• You coordinate external staff deployments and are responsible for instructing and supervising external staff
• You control maintenance services and materials
• You report quality problems, initiate measures and carry out follow-up inspections

Requirements

Successfully completed master's or technician training (is a "must"), preferably in the fields of electrical engineering, mechatronics and ideally with experience in power plant operation

• Fluent knowledge of German at least at level C1 as the main working language (is a “must”)
• You think outside the box and don't lose sight of your goals
• You are communicative and enjoy working in a team with colleagues and other stakeholders – both internally and externally
• Ideally, you have knowledge of using Microsoft 365 and SAP
• You have a class B driving license and are prepared to work at various locations within Berlin
