Role Summary

Your exciting tasks

Preparation of BayWa AG's financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS as well as collaboration in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements

• Advising internal group units on accounting issues according to HGB and IFRS
• Preparation of IFRS monthly financial statements for BayWa AG
• Creation of ad hoc analyzes SAP R3, SAP S4/Hana, SAP Business Warehouse and Excel
• Support of various interfaces in the financial sector from a technical perspective
• Creation of reports to external bodies, e.g. Federal Statistical Office
• Participation in projects on booking processes in purchasing, sales and finance as well as connections of third-party ERP systems to SAP
• Contact person for business auditors for matters relating to BayWa AG

Requirements

What you bring with you

• Completed further training as an accountant (IHK) or comparable, ideally with additional qualification as an international accountant
• Several years of professional experience in accounting or a comparable department of a company based in Germany.
• Sound knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and HGB and ideally knowledge of group consolidation/group accounting.
• Many years of experience with SAP systems (SAP S4/HANA) as well as confident use of Excel and ideally also PowerPoint
• Analytical, structured and independent way of working as well as a high affinity for numbers, strong communication skills and the ability to prepare complex issues in a way that is appropriate for the recipient (including board level)
• Very good knowledge of German and good English as well as team and service orientation
