Role Summary

Your exciting tasks

• Observation and analysis of the procurement markets with regard to price developments, market trends and quantity availability
• Active communication and coordination with suppliers to assess the current market situation and ensure supply
• Independent purchasing of spot quantities in day-to-day business including the creation and management of corresponding contracts
• Daily scheduling, control and monitoring of existing contracts and available quantities
• Price and quantity communication with the fuels sales areas as well as technical advice and support for sales
• Acquisition, support and further development of wholesale customers in the fuels sector
• Ensuring compliance with quality management, compliance and risk management requirements
• Close collaboration with the back office team (Support Fuels) as well as support with operational and administrative processes

Requirements

What you bring with you

• Successfully completed commercial training or business studies
• Initial professional experience in purchasing, trading or in the petroleum/energy industry is an advantage
• Strong understanding of market and price developments as well as economic contexts
• High negotiation skills and confident demeanor when dealing with suppliers and customers
• Analytical, structured and independent way of working
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with internal and external contacts
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel; SAP knowledge is an advantage
• High commitment, ability to work in a team and resilience in a dynamic market environment
