Theory phases

The Agribusiness course provides in-depth knowledge in the areas of business administration, agricultural economics and market structures. Students acquire skills in corporate management, financing, marketing as well as trade and marketing structures and learn to apply these to operational issues in the agricultural sector. At the same time, they develop a comprehensive understanding of agricultural production processes as well as the economic and ecological challenges of the industry. Another focus is on digitalization in agribusiness.

Practical phases

The dual course of study in the form of a course of study with in-depth practice is based on the structure, content and course of the course of the regular bachelor's degree course in Agribusiness. After the first semester, students complete their first practical assignment during the semester break with us as a partner company. Further practical phases take place during the lecture-free periods and during the practical semester.

  • Scientific work and the bachelor's thesis must be completed in coordination with BayWa.
  • During the practical phases, the dual student (m/f/d) gets to know various departments at BayWa with a focus on the agricultural division. They combine theoretical course content with practical experience, take on independent tasks and work actively in day-to-day operations and on projects.
