Working student (m/f/d) in the People & Culture team - focus on labor law

Role Summary

Are you studying law or a related course of study and would like to gain practical experience in labor law? At Motel One, you will support our People & Culture team on a wide range of employment law issues - from supporting hotel takeovers to implementing European guidelines.

Responsibilities

• You work 12-20 hours per week independently on tasks related to labor law.
• You support administrative and legal processes in connection with hotel takeovers (e.g. business transfers according to Section 613a BGB).
• You research current labor law issues and prepare the results in an understandable way.
• You create information materials and training materials for hotel managers on labor law topics.
• You will be involved in revising and updating employment contract documents and templates.
• You analyze problematic processes under labor law and support the development of solutions.
• You support the implementation of new processes and projects - e.g. B. the implementation of EU guidelines and their derivation for Motel One.
• You support the processing of incoming complaints - from forwarding them to the responsible hotel managers through to tracking settlements and structured documentation of the results.

Requirements

• You are studying law or in a bachelor's or master's degree in business law or a comparable course of study, ideally with a focus on labor law.
• Initial practical experience in a legal environment – e.g. B. through internships in a law firm or working student positions in a legal or HR area - are an advantage, but not a must.
• You are interested in practical labor law and enjoy presenting legal issues in an understandable way.
• You work in a structured, careful and responsible manner - even when tasks are ongoing at the same time, you maintain an overview.
• You have very good knowledge of spoken and written German; Knowledge of English is an advantage.
• You are confident in using MS Office programs (especially Word and PowerPoint).
• You are a team player and communicate clearly and professionally - even with non-legal target groups such as hotel managers.
