Team leader / perspective team management bridge construction – team building and project responsibility (m/f/d)

Role Summary

Would you like to build a regional team in bridge building, shape it professionally and actively help shape demanding infrastructure projects? At Ramboll, you will take responsibility for people, projects and the further development of our business - depending on your experience, directly as a team leader or with a clear development perspective in this role. You will receive the support of an established German bridge department and a strong international Ramboll community.

You will help build a regional team of civil engineers and designers in bridge and civil engineering and - depending on your experience and level of development - take on technical and disciplinary leadership responsibility.

You develop regional customer relationships, win new projects and work on convincing offers.

You lead and support demanding planning projects for bridges and engineering structures in the areas of rail, road, footpaths and cycle paths.

You manage the utilization and capacities of your team and work across locations with colleagues from Germany and the international Ramboll network.

You promote modern planning approaches such as BIM, digital collaboration and the sensible use of new technologies.

Your new environment

You will become part of an experienced, cross-location bridging department and work closely with the department head and other team leaders. In your role, you will receive professional support, regular sparring and access to a strong national and international community of experts. At the Frankfurt location, we are continuing to expand bridge construction regionally. Even if there is currently no dedicated bridge construction team there, colleagues from other infrastructure trades are already working on site. Together with them, we would like to strengthen our regional presence, develop new project opportunities and further expand cross-trade collaboration. Depending on the profile, the leadership role can be taken on from the start or developed gradually.

About you

For this role, it is important to us that you have professional experience in bridge or engineering construction and are willing to take responsibility for people, projects and further team building. What is important is not that you already fully meet all the requirements of a team leader, but that you have the potential, motivation and commitment to grow into this responsibility.

You have a degree in civil engineering and several years of experience in object or structural planning of civil engineering structures.

You know offer and project processes in the planning environment or would like to further expand this competence in a targeted manner.

You have strong communication skills, a willingness to take responsibility and an interest in leadership; Initial management or project management experience is welcome, but not a mandatory requirement.

You work on your own initiative and like to work in a team, think entrepreneurially and act confidently and authoritatively.

Fluent German skills and good English skills round off your profile.
