Senior technological infrastructure analyst in storage and backup

Role Summary

TEHORA is currently looking for a senior technological infrastructure analyst specializing in storage and backup with solid experience in operating computer data storage and backup solutions.

The successful candidate will participate in the architecture, maintenance, support and evolution of storage and backup hardware and software infrastructures for one of our public sector clients.

• Without being exhaustive, here are the services and deliverables that the successful candidate must provide:
• Maintain and upgrade all components of the magnetic space infrastructure (SAN and NAS data storage);
• Maintain and operate the corporate copy-taking solution;

As an analyst specializing in data storage products (SAN and NAS) and copy taking, provide consulting services, make recommendations and raise issues in the sector of activity during meetings and workshops held as part of IT projects;

Make recommendations and raise issues during analysis and design work as part of the load migration project to a cloud platform;

Produce and maintain up-to-date operating documentation for the upgrades under his responsibility;

Inform the project manager of any incidents or problems related to storage and backup infrastructures, submit them to the suppliers responsible for maintenance and ensure follow-up;

Ensure the availability, stability and performance of the infrastructures under its responsibility by relying on the management and monitoring tools available, and this, according to the needs of the organization;

Ensure the transfer of knowledge to personnel designated by the client;

Carry out all other work relating to a technological infrastructure analyst.

Requirements

• Hold a relevant university degree in computer science, computer engineering, telecommunications or a related field, or equivalent experience;
• Accumulate ten (10) years of experience in the field of information technology, including eight years as a technological infrastructure analyst;
• Including five (5) years in mandates during which you exercised a senior support role and direct contribution to the operation, architecture, maintenance and support of storage infrastructures (SAN, NAS) or backup solutions;
• Have carried out work related to storage (NAS or SAN) or a copy-taking solution through two mandates of at least 50 days;
• Having completed a mandate aimed at operating a cloud data storage solution, the characteristics of which are equivalent to the Microsoft Azure solution;
• Have a good understanding of modern architectures, hybrid environments and technological integration issues;
• Ability to clearly document architectural assumptions, constraints, risks and decisions;
• Spirit of synthesis, methodological rigor and customer orientation;
• Excellent communication and writing skills in French.
