MySQL Database Administrator (24/7 Support)

Role Summary

TEHORA is currently looking for a MySQL Database Administrator to ensure the availability and stability of critical services, an operational support service, including 24/7 on-call capacity and compliance with strict service levels.

• Without being exhaustive, here are the services and deliverables that the successful candidate must provide:
• Provide operational support for MySQL databases in a delegated management context, including production and non-production environments
• Handle all database-related incidents, via defined ticketing, monitoring or communication tools, ensuring continuous coverage (24/7 for production)

Diagnose and resolve incidents, particularly related to

• database availability
• data replication
• the performance and general functioning of the systems
• Respect the service levels (SLA) in force, including response and resolution times depending on the criticality of the incidents
• Provide support for non-production environments during business hours, including monitoring and processing operational requests

Carry out, upon request, specialized interventions such as

• installing and upgrading MySQL databases
• patching
• modifying configurations
• migration or evolution of databases
• Support internal teams by meeting technical expertise needs related to databases

Maintain a level of service consistent with contractual requirements, including traceability, monitoring of interventions and compliance with established processes

Requirements

• Significant experience in MySQL administration (in production)
• Ability to operate in critical environments with strict SLAs
• Experience in operational support (incident management)

Mastery of the following concepts

• MySQL replication
• Backup and recovery
• Performance and availability
• Ability to work in support mode (and not development)
• Ability to be on-call 24/7
• Ability to respond to a critical incident within 15 minutes
• Fluency in French (oral and written)
• Ability to operate in an environment that complies with government security requirements, including:
• Possession or receipt of a valid security clearance
• Mandatory participation in information security training
• Compliance with confidentiality requirements and signing of required commitments
