Responsibilities

The following areas of responsibility await you

  • You will take on the structural planning of sophisticated bridges and engineering structures - from the design through variant studies to verifiable execution planning in service phases 3 to 5.
  • You develop robust, economical and sustainable structural solutions for new construction, conversion and expansion projects.
  • You create static calculations, proofs and technical concepts, paying attention to quality, traceability and testability.
  • You ensure that relevant laws, standards, guidelines and regulations are taken into account in the planning.
  • You are the technical contact person for complex issues and actively contribute your experience to project teams.
  • You work closely with property planning, geotechnics, traffic system planning and other specialist disciplines.
  • You will be involved in the calculation of planning services, offers and technical solution concepts.
  • Depending on your interests, you can also get involved in competitions, digital planning methods or the technical guidance of younger colleagues.

  • You will become part of an experienced, cross-location and helpful team in our “Bridges” department. Regardless of your location, you are closely integrated into the department - with regular department formats, permanent sparring partners and direct collaboration in ongoing projects.
  • At the same time, you are part of our international Ramboll community in the Bridges area. This means you benefit from local team cohesion, regular knowledge exchange and the experience of colleagues from different countries and projects.

About you

  • You have a degree in civil engineering, ideally with a focus on structural engineering, structural planning or bridge construction.
  • You have several years of experience in the structural planning of bridges or engineering structures and would like to take on professional responsibility.
  • You are confident in draft and implementation planning and know the requirements of verifiable planning documents.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of static calculations and verifications for solid construction, prestressed concrete, steel or steel composite structures.
  • You are familiar with relevant regulations and standards such as Eurocodes, ZTV-ING, RE-ING, BEM-ING, RAB-ING or RIL.
  • You work in a structured, quality-conscious and solution-oriented manner - even with complex technical issues.
  • You communicate clearly and are happy to coordinate with property planning, geotechnics, traffic system planning and other specialist disciplines.
  • You have experience with calculation software such as SOFiSTiK - alternatively Dlubal, InfoGraph.
  • Interest in digital planning methods, BIM, parametric planning, Grasshopper or Python is an advantage.
  • Experience in variant studies, competitions or participation in offers is welcome, but not required.
