Responsibilities

At Zippi, your mission will be to work with business teams to transform market insights and our users' needs into cutting-edge technological solutions. You must:

• Understand the pain points and behaviors of MSEs who use our product, proposing improvement hypotheses based on data and real feedback.
• Explore and build models: design and implement pipelines, propose and build features, define targets and deliver models that help make better decisions (for example, underwriting, behavior and propensity models).
• Put models into production and operate on a daily basis: design how the models will be served (batch or real time), guarantee performance and reliability, and monitor technical and business metrics.
• Collaborate in multifunctional teams (product, engineering, business), translating business requirements into solutions and data flows that guarantee high performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Prioritize deliveries in a results-oriented manner, balancing speed and quality; measure the impact of your deliveries through metrics such as profitability, default, retention and conversion.
• Assume technical leadership of high-impact projects, proposing creative, resilient and scalable solutions in the long term.
• Work from end to end: from designing prototypes to instrumentation in production, through automated tests and rapid adjustments typical of an agile environment.

About the Company

We are a cohesive, high-performance data team, responsible for building and operating the foundation that enables Zippi's risk, product and growth decisions. This includes:

Pipeline orchestration and operational and analytical data management.

Building and evolving machine learning models that power our credit engines and real-time automations.

Creation of tools, analyzes and data layers that connect information to everyday decisions.

The data team works on end-to-end data science problems: from understanding the business problem, exploring data and creating features, to training models, putting them into production and monitoring performance. With a direct impact on the healthy growth of the customer base.

We work in direct partnership with engineering, product and other business areas, ensuring that those involved in data have a broad context to make decisions that generate real value for Zippi.
