Responsibilities

WHAT YOUR DAY TO DAY WILL BE LIKE

• Lead the design, documentation and implementation of new modern and scalable data architectures (Lakehouse) using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Databricks;
• Conduct and ensure the success of complex data migration projects (whether from on-premises to cloud or between cloud environments);
• Define data ingestion, processing and consumption standards, ensuring high performance and optimization of infrastructure costs (FinOps);
• Ensure best data modeling practices (dimensional, relational and NoSQL) and medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold);
• Act strongly in defining Data Governance, quality, lineage and security guidelines (LGPD);
• Be the main technical reference for the Engineering and Data Science teams, supporting complex decision-making;
• Disseminate data culture and mentor more junior professionals, promoting continuous improvement of the data chapter;

Collaborate with Livelo stakeholders and business leaders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

Requirements

More than 5 years of practical and indispensable experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem (Big Query, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, etc.);

• More than 3 years of solid and indispensable experience using Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, cluster optimization);
• Proven experience in structured and unstructured data migration projects and in designing new architectures from scratch;
• Solid previous experience working as a Data Architect or Principal/Specialist Data Engineer;
• Proficiency in PySpark, Python and advanced SQL for large-scale data processing;
• Experience with Lakehouse architecture and implementation of CI/CD mats applied to data (DataOps);
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling concepts and Data Mesh concepts;

Excellent communication skills to translate technical terms into the business and lead architectural discussions.

THINGS THAT ATTRACT OUR ATTENTION

• Official certifications in GCP (Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect);
• Official Databricks certifications (Certified Data Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect);
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform;
• Experience in the loyalty segment, e-commerce, payment methods or financial sector.
